Zen’s Massage Therapists work closely with our Doctors to specifically focus on your wellness needs, helping them to develop your long-term Wellness Plan. Each massage type has been designed to reduce pain, restore function, improve the effectiveness of your individualized Chiropractic adjustments, and enhance your natural healing abilities towards restoration and balance.
Acute painful injuries, such as whiplash from a car accident, or sprains and strains from a fall, joint pain, migraines, TMJ (jaw & face pain), allergies, inflammation, stress, sleep troubles, musculoskeletal pain.
Caitlin (she/her) specializes in Craniosacral Injury Recovery Massage which provides gentle, slow, adjustments to your head, spine, pelvis, extremities, light & deep tissue massage, stretching, and intuitive energy healing. If Chiropractic “popping” intimidates you or you are more painful after Chiropractic, this service is for your specific area of concern.
This powerful Somatic therapy (releasing emotions stored in body) works directly with the fluid moving within the brain and spinal cord, called the Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF). The movement of CSF is essential for nourishment, protection, and optimal function of the brain, spinal cord, and entire nervous system (your entire command center).
Working closely with our Doctors, Caitlin is passionate about helping people achieve more vibrant health and extended wellness using a highly intuitive, heart-centered approach that honors your wholeness (holistic) and supports your natural healing processes. Her energetic clearing balances the movement of energy through your entire being, especially your chakras (energy centers), meridians (energy channels), and aura (energy field). Release pain, and, sometimes, stored emotions… See how lively and radiant you can be when your nervous systems, soft tissues, skeletal system, and energy systems are balanced.
Increases the blood flow to a specific, painful area, especially super tight shoulders (adhesions/”knots”), shoulder blades, neck pain, lower back pain, and circulatory concerns creating possible numbness, tingling, and fluctuations of cold or heat.
Brenda (she/her) is a Los Angeles native who is dedicated to helping people find their paths to wellness. She blends anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal Ayurvedic Herbal oils (which have been used for millennia in India and around the world), and Cupping, which is an ancient therapy using specialized suction cups to increase blood flow to promote faster healing.
Brenda’s Herbal & Cupping Massage also combines deep tissue, stretching, and mobility to help balance the elemental forces in your body, like too much heat, or too little water, which can cause illness and disease to set in. She is extremely intuitive, nurturing, and passionate about her craft and thrives off of helping others see their own positive energy growing within them.
Decreased mobility from injury or aging, painful joint degeneration, adhesions (“knots”) of muscle and it’s membranes (fascia), stiffness, arthritis, chronic pain management.
Tyler Ann (she/her) is a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) who specializes in combining both Eastern and Western healing techniques, including deep tissue, myo-fascial release, Shiatsu, Acupressure, targeted stretching, and joint mobilization. Using her education in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and massage theory, her passion lies in helping others manage their chronic and debilitating pain.
Myo-fascial release involves breaking up old, dead, scar-tissue in the body, which causes adhesions, or sticky areas, in the muscle and skin. Adhesions prevent full function of your muscles and decrease your mobility, leading to early wear and tear in your body. Learning to master living with chronic pain is an art form and Tyler Ann utilizes her intuitive touch, observant and sensitive nature, and holistic creativity to tailor each session to your specific, long-term wellness goals.
